Constructed with an E-Glass blank for durability, and abrasion resistant true Carbide guides, this combination has proven itself as the "standard" to handle the rigors of wire line fishing. Although this blank was designed with the perfect action to correctly swim a Bunker Spoon, this rod has also done its duty trolling Umbrella Rigs and Bucktails. A Moderate / Fast action rod, which will aid with more hook-ups when using circle hooks, and help to keep your bait from being "cast off". With its softer tip section, the fish pulls against the action of the rod, which is less likely to pop or eject the bait from the fish's mouth. The cast on a rod with an action like this is more deliberate, rather than a snap, which is less likely to tear the hook through your bait. But make no mistake, this is not a noodle, it has a powerful butt section to take control of enen the largest fish. The Graphite construction is lightweight and super sensitive. This rod's heavier tip helps when "lobbing" that live Bunker, but it can also fire a plug when called upon. The 7'10" length is equally at home in either the boat or shore.
